I'm getting sick and tired of AT&T's decline in coverage and spotty coverage. When I had my RAZR phone, I used to have great coverage everywhere on AT&T, but over the past year AT&T's coverage and quality of coverage has declined BIG TIME. I'm sick and tired of it! I hope Verizon launches a HUGE campaign showing all the spots on the map where AT&T has lousy coverage and it motivates AT&T to get off their laurels and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!! :mad::mad::mad:

Apple has by far the most restrictive ecosystem. You can't even load applications that are not approved by Apple.
That's the truth! With an Andriod download I can easy get a free Trojan program along with the app I wanted.
The Trojans seem to work but many of the apps don't. Dam Apple to heck for not letting people load any old crapo they want into iTunes.

The thing is, we all know you are pro-Apple. That is fine. Everyone can like whatever they want. It is your incessant need to come into any and EVERY thread about their competition just to bash and mud-sling that gets old and makes people hate you. I like Android, but you don't see me going into every single thread on MR about the iPhone bashing it and spreading FUD because of that.
You don't like Windows, MS, Android, Google, RIM, etc, and think Apple is way better. We get it. How about you make a new thread. It could be ["Things I hate" by *LTD*], where you talk ALL about the things that bug you with the competition, and why Apple's version of everything is so much better. That way you, hopefully, won't come in and derail these other threads, where you clearly have nothing of substance to add.

This arguement will go around and around in circles, but look, people could have been saved if the administration had not cut funds to FEMA and redirected them to the war in Iraq. If Bill could get impeached because he got head, then is it unreasonable to hold George acountable for this?

isn't there perhaps an easier solution to this? Why don't we either talk to one of the moderators on here or someone who doesn't mind can go onto apple's website and the direct link to the feed when it is up.

Probably something semi lame like a free smart cover if you buy an ipad.
Or nothing at all and they are just doing a 'front page' featuring all the various tablets you can get. they have gotten bad PR for doing that and not having any in stock which could be why they are holding non pre-orders.
I also heard that there is no ad and they aren't selling 'walk ins' because they might have to redistribute them to other stores to fill pre-orders. Because they are starting to get some bad press and complaints about the wait. Which is also why they have been told not to take anymore pre-orders for the time being.

If I remember correctly, Jobs denied any problem (like he always does) just last week. Suddenly this becomes a problem when Al Franken (of all people) comes knocking on Apple's door. The whole situation has almost become a parody.
And also, where exactly is this "fix". Seems like Apple was much more responsive getting 4.0.2 released.

This is of interest to far more people than some news items, as many people shift purchases from November and December to black Friday to take advantage of the paultry 10% savings. Some people are just cheap.
Let's not forget the MacBook C2D and MacBookPro 17 C2D and Shuffle are at the beginning of their --available-- product cycles, so some people might have only shifted buying a couple of weeks on those items.
I doubt Apple will release sales figures so we can judge, but one thing is for sure. This black friday practice of Apple is widely known, there are for more stores now, and far more new, recent, and exciting products it applies to than ever before.

It could entirely be the case that simply Apple is planning on buying more ATI video cards. This could be for use in iTV, or even dedicated graphics (please please please) in the lower end machines: MacBook/Mini.
just a thought, but possible I s'pose.ATI/NVidia have ever so slightly better integrated solutions then Intel.

... The iPhone is a great piece of kit, but this software update is a great disappointment. Generally I know where I am, so the psuedo GPS thing is something I can't see myself using (and to be honest if I didn't know where I was, then I'm pretty damn sure that there wouldn't be any O2 coverage anyway!).
Not to be a pain, but the phuedo GPS is like the coolest thing for people like me that travel... now I'll be able to find myself with one click. I love that feature!
What I thought was missing was Multiple Delete for email and copy and paste. I really wished they we're in this update... the rest I'm very happy about! Besides... this is the only phone I've ever had that has any upgrades! That alone is cool! My iPhone just keeps getting better! :-)
